Default Shovel, axe, and machete setups.....post what you got

I'm looking to get a nice shovel/axe set and maybe a machete for brush clearing. I've seen some really cool setups mounted on people's tailgates and would like to know what shovels and axes are good, dependable, and short enough to mount on the tailgate. Also, what you all are using to mount them there. Thank you all and let's see them pics!!!

This was my last JK and haven't got around to setting up the new one yet. I used Quick Fist Clamps.

I have seen those setups and wonder if people actually use them. I have full size stuff and used them both a few times. To tell you the truth I need to get a chainsaw because the few times I used my axle..f that.

Oh dude, that's pretty sweet right there. You even managed to fit a fire extinguisher in there. That's way above and beyond what I was thinking of doing. Now I have something higher to aim for, THANKS!!!!! That's the setup right there, for sure.

When I did my hunting and riding in my Dodge Ram, I too carried a full size shovel, axe, and hoe , but switching over to a Jeep, we are much more limited as far as space goes. We actually did throw the chainsaw in the bed a few times but never used it. The axe, I mostly want to chop firewood while camping and if need be, clear a road of fallen branches and whatnot. This is why I also asked what axes and shovels work good. The shovel will be mainly for fire pits and to help fellow off-road'ers dig themselves out at the dunes. But a chainsaw would be sweet if possible...lol

Nice setup! What did you mount them to? It's hard for me to make it out on my phone. Thanks.

Subscribed. Let us know how to do this. I'm sure it's easy but I don't want to screw it's up. Thanks.

It appears so. I placed an order for a few sets today. I'll keep you posted as the project progresses.
