I welded bolts to the frame where the disconnects swing up too and drilled holes in the end of the bolts to slide the pin into from the disconnect so it doesn't fall off. Here is the best picture I got of the disconnect attached to the bolt I welded on with the pin in.

I originally had a set of Rough Country disconnects I bought when I didn't know anything about their quality. They come with a pair of little brackets that bolt to the frame so when you disconnect the lower part of the link you can swing it up and attach it to the bracket with a quick release pin. I have since seen the light and bought a pair of jks discos and still use the rough country brackets and the work great. I wonder if Rough Country will sell just the brackets by themselves?

Quality? RC will usually piece meal if you ask nicely.

Yes quality. The Rough Country discos for the jk did their job but the JKS ones are a much nice unit. The grease fittings on the JKS one make sliding them on and off the pins way easier then the un-greasable RC ones. What do you mean by peace meal?

Gotcha. They will sell the parts you need instead of a full setup.

I run a used Rubi electronic swaybar on mine. Electronics crapped out and have been replaced with a knob. I simply turn the knob to on the disco unit which allows the bar "break" in the middle allowing the endlinks to stay connected while still allowing maximum articulation. Love the set up.
