Everyday
Tool box with everything in it (Was purchased for me about 10 years ago has everything... Rebuilt the 302 in my mustang with it durning college.
Pull strap
Tow strap
2 Pull Pals
A bag of shackels and other rigging items for winching
Hi Lift
Shitty $30 dollar air compressor
2 Blankets
1 Large Blue Tarp
Mixute of bungee cords
4 bottles of water
Tire pressure gauge

Trail
Add a cooler with water/powerade/food
Camping stove/heater
Tent
10 gals of fuel
Heavy duty blanket for warm or crawling on the ground
A 5 quart jug of motor oil
Camping chairs (wife makes me)
Fishing gear
Back pack of basic survial gear... knifes, fire starter, map, compass, and other goodies
AP4 in 7.62 or other toys that we might want to shoot
Dog food (For the dog - you have no idea how many people forget about bring food for their animals)
Shovel
Axe / Chainsaw
I'm sure there is some other random stuff.... I'll be bring spare parts once I get a trailer.

SOG foldable shovel
Mini axe
Jeep knife
Pulling strap
Tree saver
Snatch block + D rings
50ft of rope
First Aid Kit
SAE and mm ratchet set
Pliers
Leatherman multi-tool
LED Maglite
Energizer fluorescent long life flashlight
Several straps sizes
Several Velcro straps sizes
Power inverter
GPS
HT HAM radio
Duct tape
Two 5 gal cans in or-fab carrier (keep usually empty in town)
Carhartt jacket
Leather gloves
Bungee cords
Couple bottles of water
Paper towel - doubles as toilet paper
Backpack and shoulder bag for the stuff above

Always in the Jeep:
First Aid Kit
Sunscreen
Headlamp
Gloves
Tow strap
D rings
Hi Lift jack base
Tire Deflators
**Winch Controller** - ask me why it's starred!


For the trail:
Tools: pretty much everything I'd need to make a trail repair including a 36mm socket for the axle nut.
2 qt's engine oil
1 qt gear oil
1 qt AT fluid
Air compresor

because though you may not have planned on wheeling you never know when you may find your front end burried in a muddy ditch that didn't look 'that deep'
