Why did you take them off?? Are they carb legal in Cali? { Didn't find carb on web site }

I had to smog my old Jk and I took them off. I sold that JK and have no use for them anymore. They are not CARB approved. These are long tube headers with no cats, so there is no way they could be.

This maybe a dumb question, did these hears throw any codes since there are no cats?
