I saw this done in a BRONCO II

Running my 35s on the stock 4:10s, will do 5:13s when I do 37s and Superior cmoly inner/outter shafts front/ and cmoly shafts in the rear.

Just got my 37's and had the 5.13 gears installed at the same time.

Bigger wheels = faster at same rpm
higher gear = slower at same rpm, but << correct me if worded wrong

The combination yields a 5 mph speed increase (approximate)
The feel of the Jeep is pretty close to stock for me. I haven't noticed any lack of pep and the overall power seems about the same.

5 MPH difference at what speed? it's obviously not 5 MPH across the board or your speedo would read 5 MPH while you were sitting still. the difference between speedo and actual gets greater as your speed increases, so in reality it's more of a percentage that you need to determine.

Sorry about that. Was actually thinking of this driving today.

It was 5 off at 40 mph, and 8 off at 60

But Saturday I am flashing it with the Hypertech programer so it should be right on.

how bad does 4.10s and 37s suck with an auto? I am using 4.10 and 33s right now and it is pretty good. I cant afford lift tire and gears all at once. curious if I could ride for a while without gears.
