Default tire wear

Does putting this wide a tire on 7.5" wheels effect tire wear? I just bought near-new Duratrac and the minimum width per Goodyear is 8.5".

Of course it puts different wear patterns on the tire. You'll have to run a little lower tire pressure to compensate for it. I'm running 32psi and even then it may be a little high.
