37" Nitto Trail Grapplers / 37" Goodyear MTR Kevlars / 33" Goodyear Duratracs
Like everyone else considering a tire 'upgrade', I hit the forums to help me make my decision. I thought I would share some pics of my recent tire upgrade.
I wanted to upgrade from 33" Duratracs to either 37" Trail Grapplers or 37" MTR Kevlars. I was leaning towards the MTRs (perhaps because I got a better deal with wheels and free tire balancing) but I wanted to see them side by side to put my 'indecision' to rest. I am posting pics in case it helps anyone else.
All three side by side (granted the Nitto is not mounted on a wheel for a true comparison but still...)

Duratrac, Nitto, and MTR Unmounted Tire Measurements
At this point, definitely no buyer's remorse with going to 37's. Now the tape measure (L to R: Duratracs, Nittos, MTRs).
The Duratracs have about 30k on them but I think they still must run a little under 'true to size'. However, the Nittos and MTRs are pretty close to their size (albeit MTRs a little closer).

MTR next to Nitto
I don't know if it's the fact that the MTRs are (1) mounted on wheels and (2) inflated but the MTRs seem a little more true to size than the Nittos (about a 1/2 inch difference).
Anyway, I didn't want to blow up my own thread with my own reply's (there is a limit to the number of pics you can attach) but more pics can be found here: CO Jeeper's Album: 37" Trail Grapplers & 37" MTR Kevlars & 33" Duratracs and here: CO Jeeper's Album: 37" Tire Upgrade
Hope a Jeeper finds it helpful.

The Nittos and MTRs look to be the same in that pic where all three are lined up next to each other.
(I actually like the look of the Trail Grapplers. Maybe because they have similar shoulder tread as the Duratracs)
I am pleased with the MTR height when they're on the Jeep. I seem to only loose about a tad over 1/4" (they look to be just under 36.75")
Whereas when the Duratracs are on the Jeep, I seem to loose about 1/2" (they look to be about 32")
