Not a 30, but I have a 20 on my hood, black Jeep, and I have no issues with glare whatsoever.

20" on hood with the KC, black jeep as well ... You see the reflection but it doesn't bother me one bit. I had to cut a piece of the supporting steel bracket I used in the middle because when I was squirting my windshield fluid it was hitting the bar partially.

I am going with a single cree bar to cut down on size for that reason (Dont know if it will help or not). Did you just drill into the hood to attach?

I used the KC hood mount bar that Chris from JEEPADDONS sold me.... He has a thread out here and I believe is a sponsor. The windshield washer fluid wasn't hitting my size light bar but the metal supporting piece I bought below it. I can take close up pics if you want. The brackets and KC hood mount attaches to the hood using the factory screws/bolts that currently hold your hood.... If I'm not clear I can take pics let me know..... Contact Chris at JEEPADDONS he'll know what your talking about and all you need.
