Default Anyone have pics of the Rugged Ridge Door Hinge Cover Kit???

I know someone has installed the Rugged Ridge Door Hinge Cover Kit, i just cant find pics. I am to scared to take the hinges off and have them powder coated, but feel that my White Rubi would look great with some black hinges... Does anyone have pics this kit installed on their JK?

Thanks

Well....One good thing about these covers is...The door won't swing
open far enough to hit your fenders when the strap is off . Bad part...
they RUST. Look at the picture, the bolts turns white and then to rust.
The hinge is rusting also, after just 1 year. They would look good on a
white jeep brand new, but plan on painting/undercoating them next year.
I also had to grind a little off the hinge so I could remove the doors with
out taking the covers off.

That is why I am so against metal on metal, ANY kind of gap WILL create rust, guaranteed

They seem like a good idea at first, but like rclark mentioned there are some faults, and for $50 bucks a door I don't think its worth it.

I even considered them myself, but ended up bedlining mine by myself. The hinges came off without a hitch and came out looking great:

Alright man check this out... Those covers look like hell, and you would be much happier and not to mention better off if you just get over the scared part and take the damn things off to bedline them! I have just recently done this and I was skepticle about removing them as weel but although YES the hinges are painted while installed on the door I gurantee when you remove them there will already be rust under them. I have pics to prove this. Just take em off sand them down and spray em! For the best look I put the torx bolts back in and used the spray can lid to rest the hinge on with the threads of the bolts inside the lid. Rested the anchor end on an empty off can to balance them out. Make sure you sand the backside but tape it off after where it is in direct contact with the door. Also carefully sand the area on the door that is NOT! painted, to remove the rust and whatever is there. Apply lightly an oil based lubricant, not WD40 or an arisol liquid like that on both the hinge and the door prior to re-securing the hinges after completion of bedlining.

I will post the finished product pics tomorrow when they are cured and I can install them.
