Made a few changes this spring. First was ditching the bead locks and the MTR's. I am not sure which were the problem, but I couldn't get them to balance no matter what. I tried balance beads, shaving and about five different shops. Replaced them with a set of Nitto Trail Grappler's on Rugged Ridge XHD's. The rims are super light, hub centric and everything balanced perfectly. Would have liked to run the rock rings, but they interfere with the tires.

Next was cutting the rear frame back to the body mounts and welded in a 2x4 .250 wall section and french'd in a trailer hitch mount. Picked up ground clearance and a lot more departure angle.

Next, I turned to the interior and had a set of custom switched made up with a Rugged Ridge a-pillar mount. The fitment is excellent and the color match is perfect. I am planing on buying an S-pod and will update when I have everything wired.

I hated that the inside of the hard top is white, so I had it sprayed black to match the exterior, installed a Home Link rear view mirror and hardwired in my Valentine 1.

Nice rig! I'm about to pick myself up one of the OR Fab tire carrier/gas can mounts, how hard did you find it to do the install? You mentioned an install video on YouTube, which one did you use?

I can't recall what video I used, but the instructions were vague in detailing where to drill the inside support brackets. It was a PIA install, but a great product overall.
