Eruption - 2014 Anvil JKU
Reno came to us looking to build his dream Jeep, and we were glad to help make that dream become a reality. He wanted a vehicle that he could take out wheeling, but wanted something that drove well on the street.
We started by installing our Recon Complete Coilover Kit with a TeraFlex Long Arm System. This kit includes 2.0” King Shocks with King 2.0” hydraulic bump stops. If that wasn’t enough we installed Currie Anti-Rock sway bars to help with this Jeeps articulation. It’s sitting on 17” Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels with 37” Toyo Tires Open Country M/T’s which is perfect for wheeling or crawling through malls. We couldn’t leave the stock brake system on this thing, so we swapped out the stock brakes for a TeraFlex Big Brake Kit. The front was mounted on a TeraFlex Tera 44 loaded up with an ARB locker and a RCV axle shafts. The rear kept the factory housing but the internals was replaced with an ARB locker and Ten Factory axle shafts. Mounted on the front axle is a PSC Motorsports Hydro Assist Steering Ram, to help move those 37” Toyo’s around.
What is going to move all these added components and upgrades? We decided to install a RIPP Supercharger for the 3.6L Pentastar motor, paired with a Borla exhaust, giving this beast the power it needed to be a true off-road vehicle. But like we said, Reno didn’t just want a fast vehicle, he also wanted something he could drive as well. So we installed some heavy duty J.E. Reel Driveline 1310 driveshafts, and lastly, we covered the underside with Rock Hard 4X4 steel skid plate system.
The exterior features Knuckles Off-Road front and rear bumpers with Poison Spyder Crusher flares front and rear, Poison Spyder Brawler Rockers, and an AEV hood. On the front is a Warn Zenon winch with Factor 55 Prolink.
We added a few accessories that give this build the Rebel touch. For safety we added the Rock Hard 4X4 sport cage, Knuckles Off-Road angled carrier for that spare tire you may need one day, and 75WXST Compact Remote Mount 40-Channel CB Radio.
If you have any questions on the build, or want to make one of your own, email us at info@rebeloffroad.com
