Jds Jk build
Hey all my name is Johnnie I go by JD I'm currently 17 years old I live in Ca and I got this 2007 jk when I was 15 as my first car. I had a build thread on the jeep forums but my account was somehow erased. Anyhow I'm gonna get it back up onto here. I bought my jk from Timmons of long beach here in Ca. From October to November I saved enough money to put on new method double standards 17". The jeep came with 32" tires which were fine for then. My next purchase were HID headlights and fog lights! They looked awesome. I then received a 50" lightbar for Christmas and I could not believe how much I fell in love with the looks of it all. I soon went on to buy a pair of pods which also looked amazing. Somewhere in between all that I had also boughten weather tech floor mats which work amazing. I then ended up buying an e-autogrilles front mid sized bumper with LEDS. I bought a smittybilt 9500 lb winch and a 6 inch light bar to go onto the bumper. Then I had some off time and in the process of driving it as a daily driver some how my engine blew a valve spring and we thought the motor was shot! Turns out the valve spring did no other damage to the motor and I got to keep it🍻 that was about a month ago from today. This past weekend I purchased a 3.5" pro comp lift kit with shocks and 35" BF Goodrich mud terrain T/A's along with a 1.5" wheel spacer kit for clearance. Best purchase ever. Pics to come. Let me know what you think so far

hey thanks. Yeah we took it to a local shop ( I don't wanna say the name in the open web pm me for details) and they wanted to put a new motor in it so we towed it back home and did the work ourselves😂

Welcome back. I need to get the hell out of Michigan. My axles and such had more rust on them when I picked it up off the lot brand new than your 07 does now.

luckily my axles aren't too rusted. I was thinking about getting them powder coated or just spray painting them black to get rid of that brown color on everything lol. But I do get a lot of salty air from the ocean which doesn't help with rusting -_-
