I decided to go with the poison spyder mounts, $31 shipped off of ebay. I mounted them up yesterday. The spots throw about as far as my high beams and add good but of quality light to the mix. Not a bad upgrade as the lights and mounts together were $104 shipped and there is far less hood glare than I expected. I'll add night shots when I have the chance.

Added a 20w LED cube To the stock tire carrier. As it is mounted behind the spare it doesn't add as much peripheral light as I wanted but it's a good inexpensive. I tried to fabricate a mount for the spare but it was not stable enough for my liking.

Here are few pictures of the mount that I fabricated but decided not to use. The weight of the lights was sufficient to cause a good bit of vibration/shaking and I it was harder to disconnect for spare access than I anticipated.

The fab work looks good on the bracket. If it's vibrating you may want to add some gussets to calm it down. But I agree, anytime you have to use wrenches in a tight spot can be annoying. But hopefully you only need the spare when rotating.

So I haven't checked this thread in a long while. Thanks for the compliment and advice. I think some gussets would have helped a little but I think the lights are just too heavy for the mount design. I ended up drilling a second hole and moving the single light back .75 inches and it made a world of difference, the flood now reaches the peripheral better than the stock reverse lights.

Since your running stock steelies ever think about plastidipping them? Just did it on my 2 dr 13 sport and they make a huge difference in the look for little money. Did a tri color with standard rim color, black and red since the Jeep is cherry red.

Wow man, you really put some thought into that color scheme, looks great! I have considered plastidip but I hope to different wheels when these tires wear out so I haven't. I also and concerned I would have to redo the plastidip every time I get a little trail rash.

Went to the outer banks in NC last week. Had a blast driving on the beach as camping. One day my wife and I went on a dolphin sighting tour and when we got back someone had stolen the Lights off my bumper. Fortunately, they were kind enough to leave me the mounting brackets. I think the Dolphins might have been in on it.
