It happened in the shallowbag marina in Manteo (on Roanoke island). I talked to the Manteo police and the marina manager who were both really helpful. They both said that stuff like this is really uncommon. I wouldn't take it as a sign that it's bad area. I think some kid saw us getting on the boat and new we'd be gone for at least two hours. Essentially it was a crime of opportunity.

Finished CB instal today and am pleased with the turnout. It's a Midland 75-822.

It is powered through my homemade relay box so I don't have to mess with the volume every time.

Dude that really sucks. I may just stick to standard lights rather the LED's for that exact reason, someone wanted something they couldn't afford and unfortunately you are at the right place wrong time. Just wish people would leave other folks shit alone.
