I like it also. I thought I had read on here people were painting them with the black paint you use for grills since it has to be resistant to heat.
Mine has the discoloration from the welding or something. Some do some don't. Not that it really matters that much it would be nice to be black.

I also reminds us how we all started, with little knowledge, eager to learn and help each other while having humility. But damn, this JK Jeep has turned into a cash cow for the 4x4 industry. During the Cj years, everyone built everything and didn't have to worry about computers and dealers!

yeah check this out...http://www.canadiandriver.com/articl...07wrangler.htm and look at the pictures of the black wrangler (3rd from the bottom), notice the tailpipe is already smashed up!
