Jp3792 build thread.
For a while now i wanted to start a build thread. I could never figure out where to start with it. So i guess we can start with the beginging of where it all started.
My jeep is a 2008 rubicon with tow package and 4:10s.
It came and within 2 hours i had this lifted and out on 35" dunlop rover mts.
And i had it like that for a while and decided it was time to go bigger. And not realizing how the front end of works ( a lot of learning has happened since then haha )
So i removed my 39" iroks from my f150 and put them on the jeep with major trimming and 2.5" of lift.
It still rode good but the iroks were not the brighest idea they were bias ply and started giving death wobble they then got replaced with my bros older 40" nittos.
I had these on for a while but again i couldnt handle the power loss. And decided 37s were meant to be.
37" bfg ats are still till this day my favourite tire.
And this is how it sits now.
I have read and learned a lot since then. And without the help of others from this fourm id still be treating my jeep like a truck.....eeek..

I made limb risers out of cable that was given to me. I had my lightbar stolen and had brackets sitting there i had the lightbar for 2 and half weeks.
And did i ever love the look.
Anyways i bought eye lit bolts and turn buckles ( that still need to be installed )
It was about 25$ by the time i was finished and keeps trees from hooking my high lift jack and pulling up on my hood.

I recently cut my second set of fenders due to rubbing. My goal is not run bump stop and limit my up travel.
The fenders kept catching while turning and i decided ( learned aftee cutting 4 sets a jigsaw works best lol )
I wanted to keep the factory width to limit tire spray.. yeah right. One puddle and its 15ft roosters lol.

The previous owner bent the rear cross member and it needed to be cut out. We welded 2 plates in and cut and shortened the frame. One on top and one on bottom. And 2 small plated on top of the plate where its welded to the frame.
I had made my own receiver after cutting the cross member off.
We used a class 5 hitch and cut the sides off. It was from an older ford, i then drilled holes 2 in each side if the tube and we ran square tubing inside of the receiver and welded it together.
Pics to follow!

Man, looking good! Looks like the Jeep gets used thoroughly hahahaha
I lol when I saw what appeared to be a homemade chainsaw case in one of your first pics, then a nice new Stihl chainsaw toward the last few pics.
