K02 10k Mile review
Hey guys...though I would spend a couple minitues and talk about the K02.
When I was looking at tires I was on the fence, it was a tough choice between the Good year Duratrac and the new K02...I wanted a tire that is more more on-road but can tackle medium trials...I decided to go with the K02 due to the new imporvments, tire life, and noise...I did not want a tire that made noise at all...My First Impression of the tire was WOW...huge diffrence from the stock good year wrangler...the ride quality was smoother, the traction is amazing and the noise is close to none...I do alot of freeway and this tire needed to hold up on the highway...even with the bigger sidewall it does not wander at all in the lane...10000miles later the tires look great...the have seen a couple miles of fire roads, no mud or rocks yet...the only regret is not going with 37's...that will be once these tires wear down....If anyone is on the fence these are the tires to go with...you wont be disapointed

The ones on our suburban become racing slicks. They are 265/70R17
They are a tad noisier than the stock goodyears. I suspect this differs from one of the above posts because the suburban is heavier thank the JK and perhaps tread squirms more? Dunno...
Mileage went down about .5mpg I chalk this up to a bit more aggressive tread that has greater rolling resistance.
Definitely looks good. Wet traction is better than fair, but not great.
My overall thoughts are it seems to be a remodeled A/Tko. Better looks, slightly tougher. I hope it last forever like the old ones did.
Sent from some string and a few tin cans.
