Another update:
Softtopper came in and went on fairly easy. I have a slight concern I got the wrong color, I ordered the Sandlewood and my top is lighter and more like the tan they offer. Jeep Wrangler 4-Door Unlimited 2007-Current (JK) - Jeep & SUV Tops The sample they sent was a few shades darker but who knows. I sent them a pic to see what they thought, waiting to hear back. But love the function of it so far, rained a lot here today so will see how we are doing on leaks later.
I also installed my Sprint Booster from AFE I had on my 3.6L GC. It definitely helps with drivability and there is an actual throttle response now!!

Just an FYI for everyone I was talking to someone that has the very thin tires like 1.5 to 2 inches of rubber and they said the biggest problem was potholes causing damage to them. Now on this rig you have thicker rubber similar to stock so you should be fine that way.

Makes sense, might also explain why the tires I have are aired up to 35psi
