No name JKU build
So I have not come up with a cool name for my jeep yet like "abaddon" or " crush". I was thinking Eleanor but haven't committed. I have had her for a year now but just now making a build thread, the build is going slow ( being grown up and bills is over rated). I traded in my 09 2door essentially one for one. I wanted the 4 door simply because the 2door while fun wasn't always convenient for being my only vehicle.
This monster got turned in for this wimp.
2013 jku sport with premium top and alpine sound system. The new engine while not awesome is much better than the older 3.8.

But I quickly put some upgrades down on my new love. I can't weld and don't wish t learn on something as important as my suspension so I had a local shop install a 4 in long arm TF. I plan on keeping this jeep for a long time so I don't mind saving for the parts I really want to turn this into the monster I see it as inside of my head.

Drove it around like that for quite some time. Saving money and getting settled into the new job and new state. Bought 2 12in sub woofers and a box from a friend because I needed something to tinker with and it was cheap. They were fun but took up my whole cargo space. Now they are removed and sitting in my garage if anyone would like to buy them.

Next major mod was rock sliders. They were my first mod on my last jeep and saved my butt numerous times form serious body damage. This time I went with PS rock brawlers.
These things are stout! And are a nice side step. Ran into some troubles with the stupid nutzerts so I had to take a lot more off the jeep than I planned. But it was fun taking it apart and putting it back together.
Kinda a cool look without fenders.
Turned out well use satin black spray paint and placed red reflective tape behind the spider.
Also placed some industrial grip tape down on top of the slider. Helped to give it grip and make it not scolding hot on my feet when I drive without shoes.

Took it out to gulches with Greenville jeep club and had a blast. Jeep did awesome sadly the only picture I took was this poser shot.
Recently been having trouble with the suspension. Local shop says it was some poor measurements from the installing shop and naturally the install shop denies any responsibility. They said they should be able to fix it by moving the spring perches, trimming my bump stops and swapping out the bushing that went bad. The bushing went bad because it's more than likely facing the wrong way and unable to grease it. Hopefully that will take care of the squeak and clunk sound. Drives me nuts !!!!
Most people talk bad about wheel spacers but I've been happy with them. Improve my stance and gives me more room from my suspension and tires to do their thing with out contact. Not the best solution but the AEV rims didn't have the back spacing I originally thought. Whoops.

Ordered trek armor seat covers from rebel off road it's been five weeks and I'm still waiting....... Is this normal? They will be worth it though. Also just took out all the carpet after being stuck in what I can only assume was a flash flood based on the water in my floor boards. Like it much more than carpet and should be putting in monster liner by the end of the month.

The preparation has began
This is going to get removed. I think a heat gun and putty knife is the safest route. Unless anyone else has had better luck with another way. I don't have a air chisel and want to avoid that for lots of people have put holes in their tub.
What is this? Is it safe to remove or is there a way to clean it up to make the finished product look better.
