You are smart whats the sidewall difference between true 37's on 17' and true 37's on 20's
Wow, awfully defensive. Need a hug?

There are many discussions regarding 17, 18 and 20s and wheelin. If you feel looks is the only validity, then this is a wasted discussion. 20s look good with a 40+, on a Jeep.

Offroad and tire size calculations, i'm not going to do the math for you. The ability to air down properly is important offroad.

Jaker, we aren't hammering on anyone. This is not the Pirate 4x4 asshole club. Just discussing stuff, with some friendly jabs whenever we can.

We all build the way we want. I have run 40s for 2 years; on 38s now.

There are benefits and downsides to tire and rim sizes.

What was the reason you stepped down in size? Seems like most guys go up.

Efficiency, power gain-back, lowering weight and just plain making trails fun again. 40s make stuff really easy. I ran through Rubicon in 2010 without even breathing hard, and used lockers twice just for insurance.

yeah 32's-35's is some of the best wheeling...

true hardcore wheeler = 20's + 28's + no rock rash at the end of the trail

dude you just started a whole new off road circuit!

you cant truly say that airing down with 37 on 17 is that big of a difference then 37 on 20

like i said before people ramble on but no one said whats the difference

nobody is mad , just people talking without really knowing the answer

Better yet why is it nobody says anything about 33 on 17's

33's on 17's is more expectable then 20's on 37's in the jeep world , so why is it if rubber is the goal
