No regear for me either. 3.73's and it has plenty of power. I have a DynoMax exhaust and an AirRaid cold air intake so that helps too.

ID:	666923So for those that didn't do a regear after installing 35's did you at least do a Procal? I'm in the mountains of CO most of the time that's why it concern's me about losing power - not worried when I'm in the flats of E. Texas

What gears are you running now? And what tires are you going to have? Do you have automatic? I lived in Denver for three years and with automatic, 4:10 would be minimum. You should flash it if automatic as well.

It's automatic, not sure guy at screaminlizard was telling me about Toyo OC RT's saying they are better on and off road then the BFG K2's and they have a 45,000 mile warranty 35's have standard rubi gears. Figured at very least would need to flash

I run stock 3.73s with 35's on my manual transmission 07 JK 3.8L. I re-tuned with a SuperChips Flashpaq, it made a HUGE difference. I never did a dyno, before or after, but I can tell you, the feeling of driving it on the highway went from, ugh meh, to WHOA! I can sit at 80-85MPH going up hills and all. I can get it over 100MPH if I wanted to, but that's like just asking to die lol. I live in the Central Valley CA, and there are lots of long inclines, as well as some steep inclines going over Altamont Pass. Sometimes going over the Altamont, I struggle to keep it at 80, but easily keep over 70MPH all the way to the top, with sometimes downshifting, if traffic slows me down at the bottom of the hill, but in 4th, no problem, I'm accelerating as I climb.

Testing to see if my new sway bar mounts were in order. The old location held the pins in a spot where it rubbed the tire at full stuff. Not an issue in the new spot.

I live up here near Glenwood Springs and have not regeared. 08 jku x. Used a flashpaq which was nice then added a CAI with a viper TB and that helped response. I also use the O/D off button when climbing the passes. All in all, it's still a minivan engine
