Did you lose the use of the tailgate too though? I love how this looks, but I would like to still have access to the rear of the Jeep.

I just did this myself yesterday. I can't believe Rough Country hasn't come out with metal caps for this. It seems to me they would be easier to fab than the front caps they have on the market. I used plastic from the sections I cut off to temporarily seal up the cut opening. I'll be fabbing up some steel caps for them soon and tying them back to the frame where the original brackets were to sturdy it all up more.

I stubbed ours front and rear about 2 years ago. But I sectioned them and remolded them. Here's pics of the rear.

Sorry no measurements. It was kind of figure it out as you go type thing. That's why I posted the detailed pics.
