Baja JK
Baja JK is coming together.
Here is the list of parts so far -
AEV Bridger Wheels - Black via the can
Goodyear MTR 315/75/16 Tires
Teraflex Budget boost. Waiting for Nth Degree's lift.
Shrockworks Front bumper
Warn 9.5Ti winch
Synthetic line
Baja Designs Sol Tek HID driving lights
Jeeperman Rear Bumper
HID headlights
Petzel E+light (red/white interior light)
sPOD and Source inside.
(Teraflex rockrails sitting on the garage floor.)
Oh and here is a shot of the Baja JK towing the Adventure Trailers Chaser #15 down to the beach campground. Nothing like 35" tires with no lift pulling a Chaser.

I don't take many pictures off road (photos always look boring compared to the real situation), but below you find one from earlier today. It doesn't show much, but it isn't a driveway shot.
The tires rub on the stock Rubi rails, Shrockwork's rails are to be picked up on Wed or Thursday to elevate this as this was expected. The tires also rub very lightly on the back of the stock front bumper with the sway bar disconnected. This will be corrected too as I have a Shrockworks front stubby on order that I hope to be ready for pick up when I pick up my rails. Lastly the tires rub under extreme flex on the edge of the rear bumper. I may trim the bumper or simply leave it be until I get my rear bumper/tire carrier, which probably will not happen for a couple of 3 months or so.
I don't drive the Jeep enough to say what type of milage it gets. It is only a weekend playtoy, as I have an F250 for a daily driver/tow rig.
I still have the stock 4.10 gears and I will say it is much better than everyone makes it out to be. Acceleration is definetely off, but even with the stock setup it is questionable. 95% of the time the stock gearring is adequate, occassionally though the auto tranny hunts for a better gear. Phase II of my build includes gears and this should take place in 3 months or so. I am very torn between the strenth of the 4.88's and the deep gearing of the 5.13's.

Anyone have a picture (or seen one somewhere on the web) of a stock Stone White JK Unlimited Rubicon with half doors? I'm looking for a picture with the top half of the doors removed and a retracted soft top with stock Rubi wheels and tires. Different bumpers and/or winches are fine.
I've only been able to find a photochopped pic of WOL's JK when he first bought it (on the dealer's lot) with blacked out top door halves and MACFAMM's Rubicon with a lift, after-market wheels and tires.
Thanks!
Alex
