UgaTyler's Rubicon Build
I am going to try to give a brief write-up of the progression of my Jeep to date and then add on it accordingly. Everything that has been done to my Jeep has been done by me (no shop) and some Jeep buddies. Before owning this Jeep I had no prior knowledge of how to work on a vehicle...heck I had never even changed my own oil.
I purchased my 2013 Rubicon in October of 2012 with no intention of ever modifying it. Yeah right.
This was the day I brought her home.
Not long after purchasing, I started browsing some of the Jeep forums and quickly decided that I wanted to go after "The Look" of a more aggressive Jeep.
My first mods were simple mods that didn't involve much work like adding the rugged ridge tail light covers that almost everyone adds.
Christmas of 2012 I added a few of my first real modifications where I had to turn a wrench. The front bumper was a little challenging because I had move the vacuum pump and relocate it. I was a total newb at this so it was hard cutting on a 2 month old Jeep. Next mods were:
Here is a picture of how she sat
February 2013 I finally talked my wife into letting me upgrade my wheels and tires if I could sell my stock ones on craigslist. I pretty quickly was able to get $1100 for my stock rubi rims and tires. So my next few mods were a leveling kit and new rims and tires
My next modification was to change out the rubicon decal to a more personalized decal. I ordered a black decal outlined in red (pixeldecals.com) and installed it but decided quickly that I didn't like it. I then purchased a grey decal outlined in red and am still running that one to date. I love the way it turned out.
Much more to add...To be continued

Next I added my seat covers which are one of my favorite mods to date.
June of 2013 I added some new headlights, a grey sun shade, and some off road lights.
Summer came and I decided I needed a soft top so I purchased a fastback style soft top.

It didn't take me going off road too many times to figure out that the leveling kit was not going to cut it so in September of 2013 I purchased a rancho 3" trail lift with geometry correction brackets and rancho 9000xl shocks. World of difference in the way this thing rides and handles.
My next few mods were minor mods like stickers and doing a little painting.

Towards the end of January I added a few more things to the Jeep. The mods just keep on coming.
I decided to put some vinyl stickers behind the poison spyder logo on my hood louver to really make it pop. Also, I purchased some hood latches and a new sunshade (I sold my grey one)

Current as of 04-14-2014
In the past two weeks I have added a new winch and painted a few parts on the Jeep. This is how she sits today 04-14-14.
I'm sure I have left some small things out but for the most part this is it.
- Warn 9.5cti-synhetic
- Painted interior parts
- Painted Jeep logo on gas cap
