Default Upgraded to a Rubicon

Well I finally took the plunge! I have had my 2012 JKU Sport for 2 years and had it looking how I wanted it. However, I really wanted lockers, higher gears, 4:1 transfer case, and a few other extras the Rubicon had. So I went to the dealer to see what kind of deal I could work. I ended up with my payment only going up $30, and I am getting $3500 cash back from my trade to do upgrades on this one. Plus I have loved the Anvil color since it came out. So goodbye to my faithful white one. You took me on 36k wonderful miles, but it's time to go further!

Thanks! I ordered the lift and shocks tonight. Went with the Rancho 3" trail system and 9000 XL shocks. I had those shocks on my old rig and loved them! I am also going to go with the Mickey Thompson MTZs again, but this time 35". I am still undecided on wheels.

PLEASE Measure starting point and ending point. Thinking about the exact same set-up but Im skeptical that I won't get as much lift because the Rubi springs sit a little higher. And if you could comment on the ride difference that would be awesome!

The regular rubi springs do not necessarily sit any higher. Only the 10th anniversary models (and rubi X too?) have a very minor lift.

I agree. I just couldn't come up with all the cash and time to build a monster off road vehicle. Besides I don't have that much access to areas that a slightly built Rubicon can't handle. But after 2 Jeep Jamborees I knew I wanted the lockers and 4:10s.
