Well, the build has officially begun. My Rock Krawler 2.5" Springs came right before Christmas and the weather was unseasonably nice so I couldn't pass the opportunity up. Finished the rear in 2 hours and started the front but daylight was not on my side. Hopefully the front will go smooth and I can have these on as soon as my Flashcal arrives. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=589312"/>

Nice build so far! Subbed. I really like your jeep!
My father has a willys 2 door and he loves it. Its a fully capable trim level for his needs, but I want him to go crazy on it like he did his last jeep! Or at least to keep up with mine
Question about the Gobi. How much of a PITA is it to remove when you want to drop the top? I've considered one for packing winter gear when I go snowboarding, but also when I go camping in the summer. I'd just like to keep the soft top functionality when I'm at the site and that sort of stuff. Does it collapse and make for easier storage? I haven't looked into them much so I have a lot of unanswered questions lol.

I timed myself putting down my top last year with the rack installed. It took 8 minutes from start to finish. Yes, it's a couple extra steps to drop the top with the rack but it still isn't a deterrent for putting the top down.
To remove the rack all together only requires removing 6 bolts. 4 that mount to the lightbar and 2 at the pivots by the rear bumper.

My wife has a 2 door Willys also. It is a nice package.
