Well it also depends on your rim size. On a 17" rim those tires are 33.8" while a 16" rim would be 32.8

Try this tire calculator:

troyboy is right. the 305's on 17" are nearly 34" tall tires. And, yes if you run stock 17" rubicon wheels or the X wheels for that matter, they will rub without the spacers. Some people talk about them rubbing the front couling. I have found that the only place that they rub is the brake lines. I am looking for an option that relocates the brake line bracket so that i do not have to space. Another option is to simply adjust the turn stops as it only rubs in the tightest of turns. Regardless, the simplicity of the stock wheels is a real hit in my opinion and the benefits outway the issues.

Very sharp! Definitely like the fact that you can run those on the stock wheels with no spacers. Does it still drive stock?

I'm planning on going with the Teraflex 2.5 BB and just staying with the stock rubi wheels. The tire size I want to go with is 305/70/R17 (Goodyear MT/R) will I still rub at full turns as well with the lift? Thanks for the help!

Pearl Drum Man - my 08 Sahara drives perfectly with the 305 x 17's. A beefier steering stabilizer is critical though. Also, i went with the spring lift rather than the spacers, not sure if that helped or not. But as far as i am concerned, it is a stock of a ride as you can get and still have a strong look. PS - I am a Sonor man myself.

Does anyone run 305/70s on the 18's? My question is do they stick out past the fender flares at all, or do I need to stash some more cash away for that?

I run 305/70/18's (BFG), I have one inch wheel spacers on my stock rim and they only come out about 1-1.5" out from the fender.
