A**hole's litter on the trail
Hey everybody, I just wanted to let everybody know how frustrating it is to see so much litter in our state parks. I live about 15 min from a state park and today we went for a trail ride.
When we got to one of our favorite rock piles to do a little crawling we were shocked. Someone had built a camp fire right next to one of the most used lines, and had burnt old furniture and an old mattress. I wished I had taken some pics. They also busted beer bottles on all the surrounding rocks.
So one of the guys who drove over the first rock ended up unknowingly driving right through a bunch of old rusty nails and ash that was left over from the camp fire. I was out on foot and walked up on the mess right after he drove over it.
Luckily he didn't get any nails in his tires that we could see anyways.
I hope you and your friends don't litter when on the trail. And I hope you report those that do. It's really sad to see how disrespectful some people can be, and it ruins it for the rest of us.

I feel your pain! It amazes me at the amount of litter I see on the trails here as well. I am constantly picking up after these inconsiderate A holes.
The local 4x4 clubs do a great job at their work days getting this cleaned up but it continues week after week.
