I was just on the handy build your jeep feature on the Jeep.ca website and it now has the 16 x 7.0 rims discontinued and replaced with the 17 x 7.5 rims. The 245/75/16 wheels are also discontinued and are being replaced by 255/75/17's Does anybody know anything about this? I would love to get the 255/75/17's my Jeep is waiting in QC. Wonder if I got some of the last 16's or one of the first 17's???

It might have changed part way through the '07 model year. My X 2-door came with 17" wheels as a standard feature.

As I have already said in another thread, mine is on the way and I'm supposed to receive it next week... I'm asking the same question. As soon as I receive it, I come back here to tell you !

From what I read, you can still get the "luxury styled steel wheels" which are 16x7 and come with the little 225/75R16 tires. So I guess it's either those or the 17" with the 255/75R17's...it might just be a surprise!

I picked up my Jeep last night. It has the 16" rims with the 245/75/16 goodyears.

I was told by my dealer when I picked it up that all orders made in the new year will have the 17's with 255/75/17.

Oh well!!! I am happy with my 16's they look great!

Ok lesson #1 don't take the dealers word for it. lol I was just out showing a coworker my baby and upon closer inspection I do have the 17's with the 255/75/17's WOOOO HOOOO. Let us know what you get!

I have 17's on my X 4-dr off the lot that way too. (2008)

Do you have the S package ??? I'm suppose to have mine tomorrow... And I hope it will be on 16". My winter tire are already buy........ argh....

I was expecting 16's and picked up my ride on Monday, it has 17's! No bitching here.
