Default 2 JKU Hard Top Storage question.

I'm trying to figure out how to store 2 JKU hard tops in a small garage. I will also need to store 4 doors from one of them. Any ideas? One of the problems I have is that I will have to take them off by myself. I will make up some hoist system, but I'm trying to figure out some way of being able to move them around in a garage.

Thanks for the input.

I have seen some great treads on "homemade door holders" or "homemade top holder". Search that. Some great ideas usually involves a cheap furniture dolly and some other pieces of wood

Thank for the input. I was hoping for a 2 top solution and be able to mount doors on it as well. I really don't want to stand them upright. Our 07 JKU had side window issues and leaked water in the past from standing up on a roll around dolly.

That's a great idea for the doors.

I searched the forum and only found a single top stand up dolly.

Nobody else has any ideas of a 2 JKU top storage cart/dolly? I need to be able to store 2 tops for the summer, without losing all of the garage space.

I store mine up above where I park in the garage. I use my hoist to lift it up and then secure it with ratchet straps from eye bolts and leave a little tension on the hoist line as well. Gives me just enough clearance to pull under it with my soft top on.

Thanks Jeeper. I wish I had the ceiling height for that. I have 8 ft ceilings. I thought about cutting up into the attic, but our house is trussed. No way I can do that option. I may just have to make a double stacked cart. Maybe have the second one just above the first.
