Default 2008 JK Starting issue!!! Help

Have a 08 manual jk with only 50,000 miles on it. Sometimes it cranks right up like a champ. And then sometimes it randomly decides to turn over several times before it does. I hear others talking about how theirs will keep turning over even if they let go of the key. Mine don't do that? Anybody else had this problem?

Yours won't continue to attempt to start because you have a manual. The auto's have tip-start or whatever it's called, we do not. If you're having starting issues then you need to ensure that all of your connections (start at the battery and starter) are clean and tight.

Let us know what comes of that and we'll go from there.

Thanks, but I've done all of that. It still does it 50% of the time.

Maybe have someone crank and see where you lose power? Then check component prior to where power is lost.

Same issues here my friend.. My transmission specialist friend said it might have to do with cpu relays sending back missed diagnosed information to the next computer.. It started 2 years ago but progressively got worse.. I thought it was the starter. Had it replaced last month.. No.. Yesterday I bought a bosch battery... Nope. Not that either.. Don't waste your money on that my friend.. My buddy who is a transmission specialist to my Vin and calling dealer... He said it sounds like a future recall.. But you need a lot of complaints for that to Happen.. Keep me informed as I will you
