I ordered mine on 8/21 and still don't have it. I think it is going to be delivered on 9/30. That's not 4 weeks but still pretty quick. It was built and invoiced almost 2 weeks ago. I guess the difference is shipping.

Dealer should be able to provide you with the VON (Vehicle Order #)-which confirms the factory has the order. The VIN # should be provided shortly after the VON. Once you have those, the dealer can ck (via computer) the actual status of your jeep.....plus it is good if the dealer knows you are aware of the VON/VIN relationship....

I just placed my order today! Hydro Blue 2 door. I've had a few 4 doors and thought I'd go 2 this time. I've had a hard time finding a sport with the 3.73 gearing,so I figured I would order and get exactly what I want. Dealership said that it would be 6-8 weeks. I like seeing all the posts of quicker turn around time. I sure hope the time flies by, but I doubt it will. At least I'll have time to get the wheels and tires ordered.

Finally placed order for first jeep
Yes, 44 - maybe mid-life, who cares, can't wait for 4-door, Rubicon Hard Rock, manual, black hard top, Anvil. Ordered 9/11, still not started at the plant.

Confirmed with dealer today that it is on the assembly line and could be delivered in a couple of weeks. He did say that the delivery schedule is unpredictable. I can't wait!

Just placed my order today for a 2015 JKU sport 4X4 Tank color with the 24S package, automatic, freedom hard top, max tow with 3.73 gears, u430 connect, connectivity group, no slip differential. How do you watch it thru the build process? Waiting on the VIN and wondering where you go to watch it thru the process. This is my fourth Jeep , but I've never built one before. super excited!!

^^^^ VOTS is down and you have to call 877-I AM JEEP (877.426.5337) and do a check up with them. You just need your VON number, you can use VIN as well. Once you placed an order, the buildout sheet for your Jeep should have a VON number on it (Vehicle Order Number); use this to find your Jeep's status.
