2015's on order!

I ordered my hydro blue JKUR 2 wks ago. The nicest rig ever ordered by a homeless man! I'll be stateside in 2 wks and hopefully I don't have a long wait. I should have ordered sooner to solve the homeless problem... I loved living in my YJ for a couple weeks back in the day.

Sorry for the hijack! It is a complete kit, I just didn't like certain components. Not an ideal kit in my mind. Other than the two topics below, I'm satisfied with the the results of my AEV 2.5XT kit. AEV provide brackets to reposition the front sway bar links, whereas I replaced the entire sway bar link with a longer sway bar link from the rear of a JK. AEV control arm drop brackets produce an excellent on road ride, perfect for the highway, city commuting, or mall crawling. They'll stop you dead in your tracks as soon as you hit the rocks off-road though. This upset me the most bc of trails I've previously conquered with ease, now became frame jarring impacts due to how low the front LCA's sit. $950 AEV 2.5XT $100 AEV Drop Brackets (ended up removing) $280 RK Front LCA's $25 Sway Bar Links $70 Front Brake Lines =$1425 total investment.

Wow that was a LOOOONNNGGG 4 weeks! Absolutely LOVE the tank Green. It is a difficult color to photograph. I was really worried when I saw some of the pics. Tried to take a good one for the Forum to view. The $390 upgraded top is well worth it. I have had 3 tops-this one is by far the best material and appears to be very well insulated.

Also waiting for my 2015 JKU
Okay, so here's my story. Just before heading off to San Francisco I ended up buying a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Billet Silver.
This first photo is exactly what I ordered.
After waiting 5 weeks and preparing to do what most Wrangler owners do (getting aftermarket stuff to customize their JKs), I get a good news-bad news phone call from the dealership telling me that my Jeep came in but in the wrong color. It had to be reordered.
It's now 3 weeks and I suspect I have another 2 more weeks to go before I get it.
This second shot is what it will look like when I get done with the exterior.

I'm seeing a lot of folks saying they picked up there ordered JK in around a month. Is this typical?
For some reason I was thinking it was an 8-12 week turnaround time!
Thanks
