Default 3.6L Ticking

Anyone else have problems with getting this fixed under warrenty?

Mine started the Tick 2 weeks ago buy my buddy said he took his in a few months ago to get it fixed at the dealer and they declined his warrenty because his jeep is lifted with 37s...

I thought they can only decline it if the modifications on your jeep is what caused the problem?

What dealer was that? Just want to know what dealer never to go to. Its going to be a head replacement and not related to lift or tires. They cant deny that warranty work.

Yup I believe it was the jeep dealer by the mills. I'm taking mine to the one I got it from off i-25 and Arapaho.

That ticking Noise bothers the heck outta me.

Only service I've had done was on the 12' Sport for a leaking radiator, and it was done there at Arapaho. I had no issues, but the sport really is pretty much stock. But I did notice that they have right there at the service center stacks of 35" and 37" tires. So I would think they were more on the mod friendly side. I can't believe any Jeep dealer in Colorado wouldn't be. That would be almost business suicide here I would think.
