Default Are 33's kinda wimpy?

I know this has been talked about 1000 times, I want to put 35s on my jk because they look much better then 33s but I have 3.21's and don't really want to spend the money to regear. So I thought maybe I would just do 33s instead. I really do no major off-roading, once or twice a month. Are 33s wimpy/not look as good?

Should I just spend the money to regear and get 35s?

The fact that you're debating means you really want 35s. I'd keep saving and get want you want, re-geared and all. You will regret going with 33s.

Do you have a lift? Is your JK auto or manual? If the money isn't an issue then a regear and 35s would be the way to go. I think 33s look okay on 2 doors. You could always just go with the 35s and drive it with the 3.21 until you can't take it anymore. I would think it might be less irritating if you drove a manual.

I asked the same question when I bought tires for mine. Tires are such a huge cost make sure you get what you want the first time. I put on a 2 inch lift with 33's the first time and regretted the decision. I should have bought the 35's to begin with.

Ya I would go 35s even if you had to wait a bit for a regear. I can't say how bad it would be with 3.21 and 35s. Some say it's not bad and some say it's terrible.

It's livable. Still doing it for now until I can regear, lock the rear and put my d44 up front. It feels like it never ends.
