Have a '12 Rubi with 1.75" leveling kit 1.5" spacers and trimmed fenders. Stock Rubi wheels. Can I put on 35's or 315/70r17's. I do light to moderate wheeling with flex.

I think you should be ok even with some wheelin.

I have a 14 with 2 inch spacers and 35s , stock flares not trimmed. and I'm good with minimal rubbing until I start to get really flexy then I pop the back flares off. you should be fine with your setup

with stock flares you will rub. I rubbed stock rear flares when towing a trailer and merely going over bumps in the highway. The front rubbed and broke a piece of plastic off. This was with stock flares, 2" spacers and small 33" tires. Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

I agree without trimming the fenders you will rub especially when wheelin.

With my setup I think all I'll need to do is trim my pinch seams and probably the stock Rubi rock rails.

I have gotten away without trimming my pinch seam and I wheel pretty hard. The fenders were a hindrance and my wheel would get tucked under them and I would 'click' (the sound the fenders and tires rubbing made) on through certain obstacles as I wheeled past them and mud grapplers would pull on my fenders. After the trim I never had the problem again.

So are you at stock height with no spacers? You have a Rubi?

I run a 3" lift and the backspace on my beadlocks is 3.75" so it's like having spacers without them and I have a Sahara currently.

You won't need to do anything with the pinch seams. That is a horizontal clearance issue not vertical travel.
