In your hunt for "35s"' in a 16" wheel, do not forget about the Metric sizing. As mentioned, the Lt315/75R16, is a 34.5" diameter tire, just as is a 35/12.5R. As you may have already figured out, the LT315/75R16 can be significantly cheaper per unit than a 35/12.5R17 in the same tread and load range.

I went with 15" Level 8 Motorsports black aluminum wheels with 3.75" BS. No clearance issues. Tires are 35x12.50x15 BF Goodrich KM2's. Load Range C.
