Default Aftermarket hidden hitches?

Just out of curiosity, does anybody have one of the aftermarket hitches out there? Draw-Tite and hidden hitch have the aftermarket hidden hitch that costs half as much as the mopar hidden hitch.

Just want to know if there's any difference besides the name!

I just bought the Curt Hitch. Same quality. The mopar one is heavily overpriced imo.

Default hitches

Don't know if this is the case, but some vehicles when you get the tow pkg. form the factory you also get a bigger rad., oil ccoler, plus all the wiring.

Looks like the Curt Hitches are all cross bar hitches, and not the simple mopar-style hitch. Is this the case?

@ oldtimejeep: I think the only real difference in the Jeep is the addition of a 4 pin wiriing harness (measly) and addition of the hitch.... along with an upgraded gear set.

Other than that, this thing isn't a towing machine, so it wont get the tranny coolers and so on that pickup trucks get in tow packages.

I basically want one because I've been asking around about snowboard racks. I guess it would make more sense to get a trailer hitch snowboard rack, only because you can do a lot with a trailer hitch...

i stuck on the Curt hitch too ... same one from that photo. easy install ... approx 30 minutes (had to take off the tow hook) .... it is a solid hitch receiver.

Is this a simple install? It looks to me it would use the same holes as the rear tow hook. Is this correct?
