Anyone switch from a 2013 to 2015 Jeep JK
I am on my second Jeep JKU, started with a 2010 traded in on a 2013. I have about 50K miles and the 2013 is giving me problems, and making strange noises.
Was going to leave Jeep for a BMW sedan, but just can't do it. So thinking I am going to trade it in on a new 2015. I know this is a bad financial move, but I enjoy new cars, and not worried about the money I might loose.
Wondering besides a few minor tweaks, anything major you might have noticed?
Thanks

The only problem I've noticed is minor. There seems to be something with the hard top seal where if the freedom panels aren't put in just right it will leak from the front latch. Everytime it's happened I just readjust the freedom panels and the leak stops.

We have a '13 with 50k miles too. Ours has seen a lot of time offroad and also spends a lot of time parked outside. It's definitely not aging well--the "new-ness" is long gone, it's picked up some annoying rattles, and it's always been plagued with the HVAC controls randomly losing power, but it still runs very well. We've set a goal to run it out to 100k, which will probably be another 2 years or so. Not a long wait, and the new JL should be out by then.

90k on my 08 and running strong.
Anything with 2 solid axles and stuff suspension is going to develop noises. It's a bumpy ride!! Things get jostled around a lot. It needs TLC if you want to keep it feeling new.
Every once in a while I'll torque the suspension bolts, rotate tires, an alignment and a detail and it feels new again. Same goes for any vehicle but especially off-road 4x4's.

I switched from a 14 to a 15 Hard Rock. Biggest difference is the sounds system. MAJOR upgrade. The bad...you loose the storage compartment in the rear. I switched from an auto to a stick. Engine sounds much better with a stick. Not sure if the hard rocks have different exhaust system or its just the manual gearing. But definitely a deeper sound. My 14 leaked like the titanic from the day I pulled it off the lot. The 15 has yet to and we have a few rain events since my purchase. My switch was purely based on me getting a cheaper interest rate and was planned from the beginning. Hope this helps.
