Anyone trade a jeep in with trimmed fenders?

Good luck getting the best deal!
If the dealership is willing to take in the Jeep they will go over it first to determine. If the salesman just quotes a price without looking be sure you could probably get more on a private sale. They will reduce the price a little I imagine depending on what it looks like. Some people are not interested in buying a jeep off a parking lot that has been lifted before and has been returned back to stock. Your best bet if thinking of trading is finding out what the dealer is willing to give and then trying to sell it for more privately. After you find a buyer tell them your trading it in and the dealership will do the registration switch. The dealer will give you the price you negotiate with the buyer and you'll save even more tax and get the max for your trade. I hope your thinking 2013 Jeep!

I traded in this Jeep for a car for the wife. They gave me essentially the same price I paid for it, which was more than I thought I could get out of a private sale. Then they put it on their lot for $6K more than they gave me for it, and it sold in two days. Man, I should have sold it myself and asked more for it.
No one said one word about the fenders.
