Default Back spacing question...

I'm looking at getting these rims:

Black Rock Wheels 997685042 - Black Rock Series 997 Type 8 Steel Wheel in Matte Black for 99-10 Jeep® Vehicles with 5x5 Bolt Pattern - Quadratec

I know the tires will not stick out past the fender with the 5" back spacing, but what about the 4.25" back spacing. Will the tires stick out?

If you mean on a JK, then yes, any wheel with 4.5" or more backspacing will get the tires to stick out past the fenders. In fact, most lifts call for at least 4.5" backspacing, either with new wheels, or wheel spacers. So yes, at 4.25", it'll work great!

Thank you...but, must to make sure I'm clear:

5" will not stick out
4.25" will stick out, but not much

Correct?

4.5" will stick out. 4.25" will stick out more. Pics for reference:

I'm running 2.5" Rock Krawler lift
17x8 XD Bullys w/ 4.5" BS
37x12.50-17 Nitto Trail Grapplers

Really? Wow!! Thought it was under 5". Hopefully 5" doesn't stick out...I have to be able to pass inspection in Germany.

5" will pretty much be flush with the fender. Might stick out a tiny bit
