We all have our own reasons why we bought our JK's, but one thing I bet we all can agree on is how great the jeep community is. People sharing there projects/ideas and helping other people out is the best thing about the forums. There's really no comparison when it comes to how jeeps have brought people together on the forums. Bought my jeep without offroading experience, and I've learned so much from other people's posts on here. Just wanted to share a positive thought with all out there who read this. Post a picture of your JK and add your thoughts.

One of the best things I like is when you pull up next to one of the expensive convertible sports car at the light and they look over at you with your top AND doors off, leaning back with your foot hanging out the door and they take a second look. Some times I think I can see it on there face. "Wish I had one".

Getting out safe from my neighborhood in the aftermath of superstorm Sandy. Driving through the streets filled with a couple feet of water and seeing all of the stranded, less capable vehicles that attempted to make it through and failed. Look closely at the picture. You can see the bow wake from the front of my jeep, as well as the boat that floated up against someone's house. And another picture from inside my jeep ad there happens to be another jeep in front going through a flooded area.

The best winter thing for me is not worrying about all the snow. Give me 3 feet of it, as long as I'm not a total dummy I'm not getting stuck anywhere.

In the summer, its the top and doors off. I'd rather be in the Jeep than just about anything else.

Damn straight. I remember just last summer driving through traffic and noticed an obvious ogling from a guy in an $80K Porshe thinking the same exact thing you mentioned: "wish I had one".

At a gas station, a Corvette driver couldn't take his eyes off my Jeep... 4" lifted, 35"s, with the top & door on it...
When we "parted", he gestured a ...

I returned the gesture... I like sports cars as well...

I like that it's good for flash floods, reliable, easy to work on, and safe for the family.

im also a sports car fan, but couldn't justify one as a daily driver in northeast OH, glad I went with the jeep.

The friendly community and the ability to customize to make it my own. The number of man hours, beers, and cussing that has gone into my Jeep is by far why I love it so much.

I love the customization. I saw at least 10 jeeps on the way home this afternoon. Each was different. Some near stock, some with a lot of mods. Different combos of Lift, wheels, tires, tops, fenders, bumpers, racks, etc. Fun to see all the ways you can set one up. To non keeper they probably all look the same, but it is all about the details.
