Default Bestop Trektop NX opinion

Thinking about selling my hardtop off my JKU and going with a soft top. Was looking at the Bestop trektop NX and was wondering if anyone has had any major issues with them? I've never had a soft top on either jeep I've had, but I just want some extra cash. I think my main concern is the Colorado winter and whether or not the trektop is durable enough. Opinions??

I had the TT NX on my 08 JKUR. I liked it enough to sell my hard top. Visibility out the rear was better than any other top (I've used factory hard top & factory soft top). It was no more noisy than the factory soft top. And I made it through winters in St Louis metro east easy, thanks to the awesome heater the JKs have. As a bonus, the TT is the best top to have on wooded trails. It just fits closer to the jeep. And doesn't rub against things as much

I switched from a hard top to a trek top. My advice would be warm the Jeep up before you take off so the top isn't frozen stiff. At highway speeds I get the heavy snow bouncing on the jku trek top. I always warmed up mine and pushed up on the roof at speed to knock off the layer of snow.

Good feedback thanks guys. Read a few bad reviews about leaking a lot, but most were good. If it's durable enough for snow that's all I need. I'll hold onto hardtop for a bit just in case I guess. Thanks again

Love it--just got it this weekend. Only took about 30 mins for me and my son to install!

I loved mine that I had on my 12. I'm in the process of trying to get rid of my premium top off my 14 to get another nx. Fitment was snug, I really liked the ability to remover all the rear windows and go.

I have had mine since 2011 switch from hardtop to the NX and have not regret it yet

Just recently purchased my 09' X. The soft top was in Poor shape and decided on the Bestop trek nx. I love the top. I really like the options that come with it ( pulling all the windows off and still having a sun rider). Also the sunroof is a nice feature. This is my first jeep so I have nothing to compare it with FWIW.

I'm on year 4 with my nx. Much more versatile for me than factory soft tops, safari tops, etc. on my other jeeps. No leaks, no issues and if I had to replace, it would be with another nx. No questions asked.

I am another happy customer and huge fan of the NX. During the summer I ride with the sun rider and can pop the windows back in in under 5 min if a rain shower pops up. The windows seem to be very thick and great quality. Install was a very simple process and the top is so snug. Going down the interstate there is no flapping and it isn't much louder than my hardtop. It's been on for quite some time now and I have never had a problem with any leaks. Plus, RebelOffroad hooked me up with a killer deal.
