Painted calipers on a jk... sacrelig or acceptable? Currently having this talk with a friend. I'd do a poll but I'm on my phone

I would paint them.....why not give them some protection against brake dust? Nobody said they have to be bright yellow or chrome'd out.

I have a 13 avenger thays black I'm doing the calipers red. And a 08 silver gxp I'm doing blue. My jeep is green so I was thinking copper like my other accents wouldn't be to blingy or out there but lime ypu said give some protection and a little bit of difference when its clean. My buddy say negatron

the stock ones are alredy nickle plated it looks like so they are bright silver. ide paint them if i had em off just dont do some tackey (Please look at me color) and you should be fine. I prefer paint over rust anyday.
