What year jeeps are we talking about? I've got a 2012 that's had the airbag light on for a while and I've been thinking it's the clock spring issue.

Good question. This recall notice from Chrysler says certain 2011 through 2016. But I received a notice for my 2007. Best if you find the recall website and put your VIN in.

Apparently they don't stock the gas fill tube because they don't change a lot of them and when the Jeep is schedule for that particular service they don't know if the problem is the tank or fill tube. Any way the Jeep is staying overnight to be finished hopefully tomorrow afternoon. Still no parts for the passenger air bag recall yet.
Gas fill overflow gets replaced by an entire new tank. The recall specifically says a new tank and hose from what I remember. Mine is a 2008.

Clock spring done on my 2008. Waiting for the passenger air bag to come in.

Is the fuel tank recall for 2 or 4 door JKs?

Default Fuel tank

Not sure if the recall for the fuel tank is model specific (x32 inlet check valve 999.0 months or 999999 miles) The dealer told me the problem could be either the tank or the fuel fill tube. In my case they only replaced the fill tube which corrected the problem.

Ok might be. I just remembered be very surprised to hear I was getting an entire tank and assembly. Always happy to get a new one.
