I wonder how many of those motors are direct injection.

That's a surprise. Coupled with the lowest insurance rates, JKs practically pay for themselves ; )

*(But not the mods)

Depending on how i drove it, my 2009 BMW 750i was burning up to a quart per tank of gas. Damn motor held 11 quarts because of the turbos. That v8 was awesome tho. Miss that car.

Love my Jeep more tho!

At a quart every 1,000 miles, I'm surprised I don't see more blown motor photos at http://www.reddit.com/r/Justrolledintotheshop/.

I don't envision a lot of X5 or Audi owners knowing where a dipstick is or how to read it.

Ah only goes back to 2010 models. I was going to say Honda should be on there, because there isn't a ragged out 90's model Civic or Accord that I know of that doesn't burn oil.
