So I pulled up next to a newbie that was reluctant to say hello at a stoplight. My window down and kept waving, he finally opened his passenger window. Asked him how he likes his Arctic Edition. He points at his cracked windshield and says look at this. I smiled and said get used to it. Was that bad? I was telling the truth.

He lives in the neighborhood, so I'll try to see if he's interested in a wheeling trip.

You're absolutely right.

I have about a dozen chips 1/4" in diameter and a crack going across my windshield... I bought my JK 1 year and half ago.

Then again I live in Alberta, winter doesn't help.

So here's a good excuse to get at least a 4" lift and 35" tires.... Gets your jeep high enough that those rocks don't reach the windshield.

Ah Yah Maybe
All the rocks that have taken my windshields out have been chucked by uncleaned gravel and cement trucks leaving construction sites and driving on the road.
Those things are 20' then bouncing up or ground balls. No way to avoid unless your Jeep has helicopter mode

Just got this one driving about 15mph leaving my work and I wasn't following anybody. That's the second crack in 2 months, my jeep just turned 1yr old last Tuesday.

There is a RRT ( rapid response) on a certain year and production date that the windshields will crack for no reason get your dealer to check it out if your vehicle is one!
