Dealing with the dealer
So I've read a few threads on everyone's preferred methods of getting the price they want, but that leads me to this question: Although I can get the friends and family deal, would I be better off trying to negotiate the price before mentioning this? Or is the friends and family price as good as I'm going to get?

I am not sure how easy it will be to deal if you have a friends and family discount. Generally, dealers will deal on a car, or give you the F&F price if you are eligible without haggling. Thats not to say it isn't technically possible to deal from the F&F price, but it is less likely. Especially if the dealer feels they do not need to go below the F&F price ordinarily anyway. (In fact, I do not think dealers are even required to honor the F&F price if they chose not to).
Whether you should mention it right away or not? I dunno. Not sure how I would play that either.
For invoice prices, check www.edmunds.com or www.kbb.com

You can get this from kbb.com, Edmunds or Nada.com. I found Nada to be the most accurate when I was doing the research on my JK.

Whether it is possible to negotiate a better deal than F&F is going to be dealer dependent... basically, how willing a dealer is going to be to drop the price for you. Some dealers are heavily discounting JK's now, while others are trying to stick at or close to MSRP. I'd say it is theoretically possible to negotiate a better deal than F&F, but not guaranteed.

That aside, there are so many good tips there, once you sift through the many links.
