Default Deer ran into my JK

So there I was...just driving home from work in the morning and BANG...a deer runs smack into the side of my Jeep.

There are a few scratches (didnt notice any dents) on my driver side door and the rear fender is partially unattached from the body. Thats all the damage I noticed so far (with a flashlight).

Where do you guys suggest I take it for repairs? Body shop? Jeep dealer?

If you have comprehensive insurance coverage, your insurance will consider that a not-at-fault accident. Either can do the repair, but the dealer will, in all likelihood cost you more if you're paying out of pocket.

Get some new plastic fender clips and call it a day.

After further inspection, it looks like I just need some scratches taken care of and a few new fender clips. Coulda been worse!

So no actual body damage or dents?

Deer vs Jk. Jk won. Kinda sad. Did you bring it home?

I live in the middle of the National Forest here in Huntsville and the deer are everywhere. Thats why I went with the full width bumpers instead of the stubbies. That would not had made a difference, since yours took it in the side. You were lucky.

No dents. Just 2 scratches on the door about an inch wide and some broken fender clips on the rear fender. Ill just order some new ones from quadratec.

Certainly thought it was going to be worse since the actual impact was loud as hell.

Glad the damage was minimal...I hate that moment of "WTH" right after it hits you, then you realize a deer broadsided you.
