Default Did cheap lift contribute to DW?

I sold my Jeep a couple months ago due to DW. I never got it when it was stock, but after I installed a cheap 2" spacer lift, it started. Tried a bunch of things, swapped the bolts to 9/16, tightened everything, even had the ball joints replaced. Was good for a year, then returned. I loved my Jeep and will get another when I get 2 of my kids out of school. So my question is, was the DW due to the cheap lift? Had I spent $1500, would I still have gotten it? When I get my next Jeep, I'll have the dealer install a nice lift so I have some recourse. Opinions? Thanks!

We'll never know but the short answer is usually no. Typically there is something else out of whack and the 2" causes it to exacerbate itself and it is usually further compounded by big tires.
